Metztlitopilli, the Messenger of the Moon

A mysterious figure, only encountered in The Dreamlands. An [[Overseers|overseer]], and ancient rival of Itzyoyotl. He helped imprison her, and wants to rid the world of her completely, now that she is testing the bonds of her prison.

In the time before the Shattering, Metztlitopilli was a subordiante of another Overseer, the Herald of the Sun, and after the Shattering, he took over control of Ortuxl, ruling from the shadows ever since.

Metztlitopilli presents himself as a handsome man in his early thirties. He has an easy friendly manner, and doesn't loose his temper, even when treated with great disrespect.

He seems to regret the excesses of the Overseers that led to the Shattering, and has a stated goal that it cannot be allowed to happen again. Towards this end, he strives to prevent the reinvention of Etherglass and the banishment of Itzyoyotl.
